Pam Lalmond Award:

Pam Lalmond was a graduate student and assistant tennis coach at Smith in the 90's.  She played number 1 for Dartmouth as an undergrad and she won the New England Championships as well as earning many other accolades in college tennis.  She is 5 feet tall and about 100 pounds.  In spite of her small stature, she was a mighty player and demonstrated the highest level of sportsmanship both on and off the court.  She was the epitome of grace and taught me the meaning of the word in a tennis context.  She always had something good to say about her opponent and her teammates.  She was a very encouraging and loved assistant coach.  Few could defeat her on the court.
